Loc: Otter Lake, Parry Sound, Ontar...
My wife was busy cleaning cottages here Sunday so I decided to go for a blast and explore some new local sledding.Since this is my first winter living and riding here, I'm still in a steep learning curve.I rode from home (Sunny Point Resort) up the Otter Lake trail to trail Top C.I rode Top C into and through Parry Sound. The part of the trail through town is actually a walking and recreation trail outside of sleddin' season. Its a cool trail but a little slow as it winds it's way along the waterfront and around the harbour.Exiting town Top C heads north east towards the megalopolis of Nobel Ontario(population 16 1/2 and one cat).Just south of Nobel the trail splits and I took the branch heading south east towards the Seguin Trail. Here's where the real fun started. This section of trail is by far the most fun to ride of any I've seen yet.Its a fairly high speed roller coaster of steep climbs (your only lookin' at the sky steep!!), long fast drops and tight turns. There are sections of successive rollers where you can't help but crack the throttle and launch yourself off of one after the other, YEEE HAAA!The trail loops back west to the Jolly Roger Inn on Hwy 400, passes under the hwy through a tunnel. This rejoins the main Top C trail 2 minutes from the junction of the Otter Lake link trail.Round trip 70 km, 1/2 a tank of gas and at least a dozen shrieks of delight!

So you just leave your wife cleaning cottages, and went off ridin'? Good job! But of coarse dear, I was thinking of you while I was giggling in my helmet.

Don't worry Tony, I did say PLEASE when I asked her if I could go!
Oh, and by the way she just got back a few minutes ago from a 2 hour ride of her own.Left me slaving over a portable ice-fishing hut, she did!
