Well it started to snow on Sunday and hasn't really stopped since. It's a bit wet in town but higher up it gets much lighter. We were at wranglers cabin on Sunday and in a three hour period got a good 6" or more. From what we have had in town I'd estimate well over a foot up top. Weather calls for more (chance of flurries) most of the week so by this weekend we should be sledding anywhere we want to. Just watch out for lanches. The snow drags are set for Sat Mar 8th at the rodeo grounds. Sorry but no big air this year as we couldn'd get insurance for that. There is a cabaret / dance with live bands Sat night. Hotels are booking up fast so if you need a room book now.

Im happy to report about 2feet fresh powder on Coal Creek summit on Sunday. Colder than crap at the bottom but when we reached the summit we were in sun and nice temp all day long. Had lots of untracked powder to play in and we even were able to do some boondocking with no incidents with hidden stumps etc. Even hooked up with some frendly folk from Alberta who let me try the new Summit Rev. What a machine!!!!! Ample power, good flotation, climbed very well and turned like a dream. I wish i had the chance to ride it in the trees and up some really steep but from what I saw I really think there will be one in my garage in the ( hopefully near ) future. Anyway Fernie Gris days March 7,8,9 with snow drags on Sat the 8th. Also a dance/cabaret hosted by the snowmobile club on Sat night and a club ride scheduled for Sunday. Happy sledding everyone!!
